The American concept of "diner" does not exist in Australia. We have cafes ... but I guess you have them too. We don't have bars either ... we have pubs.
I wonder why the owners of the diner in your photo needed three open signs. Did they think that people would not believe one or two?
When I approach a place to eat, I would rather be able to see through the window than see a bunch of signs, so I can tell whether I want to go inside to eat (which is a decision usually made for me because the operative question is usually whether Julie wants to go inside to eat).

Anyway, lovely place :-)
Lovely picture! I like the "Don't blame me. I bank locally." sticker in the right window.
Like you said, something's not right...but what? It certainly is colorful...yet kinda old, dingy and dirty...
Why the reference to ghosts? Am I missing something?
Have a great day!
OPEN signs on restaurants? Ha! Not a good sign in my eyes. They should 'sell' themselves with GREAT food. But I like this shot, colorful.

I agree with Jacob that the place must be kind of dingy inside. I don't think I would eat there, but would to explore for historical reasons.
humm it looks suspicious! :-)
But its a nice place!

That is lot of boards for "OPEN"
Love the reds in this shot. Looks like it would be a fun place to eat...if it's ever really open!
rats, often old-style diners have great greasy spoon grub...
Simply lovely shot !! Great...Unseen Rajasthan
Open to be photographed :). I have tried once eating at the dinner. It was so America :).
I sure like the colors.
Do I see a light on inside? Very busy with the signage . . . lots of stories here . . . this could be a setting for a movie.
