Wonderful series. What a great event! Must leave the town with a good feeling...

Is that cop checking the girl's parade permit? ;-)

That parade looks like it was a lot of fun. Did that lady with the cow gloves have a bull-horn in her hands, or was that a cow-horn?

this is sort of a funny tradition. the photos are good and it brings forth a slice of Americana and good old fashioned sentimental memories. I am sure the kids love this event. I am glad you are enjoying the Phoenician and Camelback Mountain series.

Very nice set of photos. The girl looks so serious in the last one. Is Jacob right? Trouble with the law?

Looks like a fun event. The officer looks very serious...

I'll wager they're both so serious because no one ever has cause to use a bullhorn in Brattleboro, VT, and they just can't figure it out for the life of them. The heifers make me love Vermont all the more.

Hoppin' Hoofers, truth be told, the Dairy Godmother was asking the kind cop how to use the darn bull horn...and his response? I don't know, it's gotta have an on switch. Better than last year's run-in with the law (a close cowtastrophie) -- a certain dressed officer didn't like her approaching him and asked her to "back away" (she then continued to sprinkle him with Dairy Dust behind his back anyway...oh, that bovine vixen).
I'm lovin the blog, and the pictures of my daughter, the Dairy Princess. Friend me on Facebook for more pics. Hope to see ya'll at the next Stroll, until then, remember to always watch where you're walking when you know the chips are down.
with love for heifer and heifer, the Dairy Godmother
