monochrome monday: on a clear day

if only we could see into the future
the way we see into the distance
but we would need to know what we were seeing
to form a useful opinion.
this is taken on route 2 in massachusetts
i can't tell you anything about what you're looking at in the distance.

Love this one. A peaceful shot for the day, reflective.

It would show great wisdom of one who could look into the future and comprehend its meaning.

Well, it looks like an image from the past, not future....;)

The use of sepia is very effective with the topic of vision.

I dont think of America in its totality as other than city streets. It takes shots like this for me to realise that even densely populated areas are encircled by great dollops of more natural land, even sometimes wilderness. Just like it is here ...

An appropriate sentiment...and your photo is a great complement (or vice versa). Love the color!

Very nice monochrome for a Monday. It's as important to understand where we have been so we can gage the correct path into the future.
