Hey KittyKat-
What's the 'story' on your trip? The photos and locations have left me wanting a bit more. Family connections? A great travel deal? Work? or something more?

Great photos with a common theme. These could very well be used as post cards:-)

Thanks, Birdman. Thanks, Leia. Thanks, Christopher. Yes, I really did go to those places. My husband and I spent two glorious weeks in Turkey, exploring Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Ephesus. Before returning home we stopped in England for a few days to visit our daughter. I'm still a bit jet-lagged but so filled with happy memories.

The grass is greener in Turkey than in England. Amazing!

Great pictures, and great trip!

Yes, this is a wonderful synthesis. Tells the story of your sojourn incidently. Clever story telling.

I like all three, but especially the top one. Turkey is firming as my destination for the northern autumn of 2010.

"I just love goats," she said.

"Oh, those are sheep?

"I'm so embarrassed," she said sheepishly.

For a change from green Vermont, let me introduce you to one of my favourite watering holes:

This is classic Australian landscapes: so so different from the three you have posted today.

I love these photos. so serene. the photos are truly excellent. Welcome back. Your trip to Turkey sounds wonderful. I was fortunate to go to Turkey once and I really loved it. Great architecture, culture, food, people, and superb mosques. Thanks for all of your comment on my site. They brighten my day. I am glad you like the Chihuly and the cactus. Sorry for the delay in responding as work has been a primary detractor for me lately. I will have a nightscape series during the next week. I went to a full moon photography class on Friday night and tried out the tips on Saturday night while there was still a full moon.
