This pig looks a lot happier than the pigs that I will post in few days for my ranch series. He is getting lots of fresh air and sunshine, and stimulation from the boy.
The following little ditty obviously does not apply to this happy photo:
Twas an evening in October, I'll confess I wasn't sober, I was carting home a load with manly pride, When my feet began to stutter and I fell into the gutter, And a pig came up and lay down by my side. Then I lay there in the gutter and my heart was all a-flutter, Till a lady, passing by, did chance to say: "You can tell a man that boozes by the company he chooses," Then the pig got up and slowly walked away.
The expression on that child's face is priceless. You know, brattcat, I hardly ever encounter pigs on leashes while I am strolling around Hartford . . .
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

This is much better (and more real) than my imaginary beast...
Very beautiful capture!
Sheer happiness!
The little girl is having a good time hamming it up!
And SOMEBODY got a rip roaring laugh! I love this.

Absolutely, positively, the greatest, weirdest CDP photo in some time. Brilliant, a prize winner.
Brilliant!
Pigs are said the best pets ever.
