I love that the porch is used like an outdoor room, table lamp and all!! Wonderful image and words Brattcat.
This looks like it might be the place you showed a week or two ago that had the Tibetan flags and old bottles inside, judging from the flags on this porch.
What a scene to wake up to on an October Sunday. The kids must have loved it.

I've just come from Jack's blog, this is so much prettier than what happened in Hartford...
You wax poetic. My words upon seeing this in the morning would be much less fragrant and much more profane. I guess that's why I'm in Florida! :-)
I like this place and this colourful photo very much.
Buddhist prayer flags? It brings back memories of them flying across the empty spaces of Tibet, but the homes weren't nearly so comfortable.
