My parents took me in 1964, when I was 13. Julie and I should do the tour on one of our trips to New York.
When I was in high school I was the Undersecretary General of the Model U.N. in which students from all over the St. Louis area convened and took the parts of all of the various countries in the world. Back then, of course, the Cold War dominated geopolitical relations. It was a very worthwhile learning experience.
Wow, that's truly beautiful! And I do see Brazil in evidence! :) I saw the UN offices just from outside, it must really an interesting visit! God bless you! Cezar
No, I haven't. There is just so much to see and do in NYC that this has never got to the top of my list. I think I will nudge it higher. After Book of Morman, though.
Lovely to see them at home for a while and sooo sad to let go again. I am still waiting for my daughter to come back after months of teaching in America.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

No, but it seems to be worth the visit.
What an amazing backdrop! Never been there but as Rob and Mandy indicated it would be worth a visit.
This shot seems so cold compared to to your warm nest in VT.
Nope! It looks so colorful. Not like I pictured it or as I've seen it in pictures.
Were you speaking there?
Sorry about baby bc...unfortunately, babies grow up and flee the nest but if we're lucky they return on occasion!
Yes, about 28 years ago! But it doesn't look changed all that much.
I have been inside the UN and somewhere I have some photos to prove it.
Never. And I can even see 'my' seat now! :-)))

Not there, only close... Thanks for the curious image!

No, I haven't. And now I want to.
Hope Baby-BC returns for a visit soon.
I have not been inside the UN. Can't imagine how any work gets done there with the beautiful art work on the walls ;-) Were you on a tour?
