If there's a shadow, there's sun like in summer. If there's a leaf, it's autumn; If there's snow, it's winter; If there are your words, it's always spring!only you can put 4 seasons in one single picture! :o)
Don't leaf me that way either. Took all week for the snow to melt. Still a few patches in the shady areas. Ugh. Went out and bought 2 pairs of boots this week. Not a good sign.
You are so good at seeing and showing simple details. I need to try it some time. But, then again, I have spent a lifetime telling people I am a big picture kind of guy . . .

Très pretty and sad that autumn glory fades so quickly and now I'm humming of course!

What a treasure in the snow!
I like the many wonderful colors against the white of the snow.

Nice play on words...
Colours are beautiful...

God bless you!

No sugar coating here!
Your are likely making Canadians feel patriotic.
And the tree, in great sorrow, said,
"Hey you leafed me, I didn't leaf you!
"I shall miss your beauty in every season."
Now I have the song in my head! :-) Lovely capture, Brattcat.
Ahhhhhhh! MB

What a juxtaposition!!
Very witty, Brattcat!
There's ice wine - perhaps ice maple syrup? It would be as sweet and concentrated as the color in this photo.
Oh, very punny! This snow is all just nature joking around with us.
Too funny and especially before breakfast...
Magnificent composition of forms, textures and colours!
