What a beautiful birthday card.
It is a lovely thoughtful gift for a birthday. It led me however to the thought of Leda and the Swan by Yeats and a rereading of it...too much intellectual activity for so early in the morning!!

I never read much Yeats. In high school I read W. H Auden's Ode to W. B Yeats. It may offend Kate and other former teachers, particularly someone as literary as her, but reading Auden's Ode to Yeats did not inspire me to read Yeats.
Brattcat, I answered your question on my post today. The pasture lies alongside a road that gets a lot of traffic, for country road, because it is the shortest route between Tamarindo and the main town in the area.
