we humans are such fools

to think winter might be losing its grip.
this morning the snow falls with cold determination
and spring has turned her back on us 
 resuming her long sleep.

It does seem like a long winter. The snow is so pretty, but maybe too much of a good thing by mid-March! Thanks for the knitting info. I do knit and crochet. I've crocheted figurines but never tried knitting them. Hope I can find a copy of the magazine!

What a strange season this year... we are getting unusually cold and gloomy weather this week, quite an uncharacteristic Carolina springtime!
