somewhere in massachusetts

peter pan is a bus line, bob, like greyhound or trailways.
shadows were permitted in the bus, malyss, and they played actively through the entire ride.
no, tink was not driving, birdman.
it was late morning when i shot these, lowell.
slim, i don't think that was the train station...it certainly wasn't the bus station.
(after the very helpful comments from Kenneth Peterson it is confirmed that yesterday's shot is indeed a train station)

In both photos (yesterday's and today's), interesting that your eye focuses on the more beautiful 'old' and elegant buildings, while the more austere, modern ones lurk behind . . .

The sky, clouds and tree lighten up the photo. Yes, old and elegant buildings.

This looks like a church in a mystery novel.

This church matches very well with Peter's universe.Only YOU could travel in a Peter Pan Bus!(oh, maybe me too, if ever I meet one one day.Should try to fly to Nverland...Ü)

Based on the time this photo was taken, how long before or after the Union Station photo was this image captured? I'm not entirely sure this is a Worcester church, but knowing how many minutes elapsed between this & Union Station might help pinpoint where you were.

I didn't say anything. Yet. Late morning sounds about right. And I'm guessing this is a Congregational (UCC) church...

How fast does a Peter Pan bus go through Worcester?

You're absolutely correct, Kenneth. This photo and the other photo featured yesterday were taken one hour apart so this couldn't be Worcester...it might be Springfield. Thank you so much for your informative comments.

OMG! The many times I saw Worchestser from a Peter Pan bus after a night long journey from Philly to Franconia NH, or Plainfield VT! These two posts triggered flashbacks . . . . decades later. . . . .thanks for the jolt!

I'm less familiar with Springfield, but I'll be heading that way next Sunday, so I'll watch for the church.

Did your Peter Pan bus stop in Worcester, or just pass by on the highway? There's a new bus station under construction near the train station in Worcester, but I'm not sure it's being used yet.

This architecture is just unlike anything else. Love it. Great photos!

Check out my own awesome travel blog sometime soon! :)

Thanks, Kenneth. The bus did indeed make a stop in Worcester.

Somewhere. Anywhere. This could be Iowa. It could be Tennessee. Or Germany. Another bit of life's random images.

It has been fun reading the comments today and yesterday. I don't know where it is, either, but Springfield makes sense.

Like Jack I've enjoyed the back and forth on these two posts Brattcat, I love it if I'm not 100% sure and a helpful Perthite jumps in with the info.

I would have guess it ran one way to Neverland! :)

I passed by Springfield today on the Mass. Turnpike -- I didn't see this church from the Pike. Perhaps your bus had exited onto I-291 or I-91 by the time this photo was taken?

i think it is likely we exited onto 291, kenneth. thank you for checking this out and for all of your thoughtful comments.
