Hoorah for love and the desire and motivation to write!
Happy Valentine's Day to you! ....may you find love eternal in both familiar and unexpected places! May you also find flowers and chocolate to celebrate the day!

Which means that
1) people still like to write letters
2)people love Valentine's day
3)people are more romantic than one could think
4)people like to do something unsual
5) especially if love is the reason.
Good news!!!
And Happy Valentine's-Day to you and Mr Brattcat!

Inviting people in to send an email does not have the same allure.

Oh, I'd have written one, too.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. What I meant was for me, you're either in love or you're not, so that makes it (for me) black and white! ;)

Awww. . . and what did people do with the love letters?

sharon, there's going to be a big party today. many of the letters are being mailed to the addressees, many will be read at the party.

Great idea! Where did this occur? I might use that at school next year...but the number would need to be higher with 1005 students in the population.
