It definitely adds color to the winter palette! Your question reminds me of a Dr. Seuss book. I think the snow turns pink.
I kinda like the white version. Visually, of course.

The white looks so pristine and clean until cars drive over it and people walk in it. Colorful snowflakes would add a whole new dimension.
And what if it came down in different colors each time, like one day blue, another green, etc. ? :))
I think it did around 1968-70, but eventually cleaned up its act.
This whiteness is getting so boring. Give me color!
