david sanger spoke to a full house in brattleboro last week

during his informative talk not a single soul headed for the exit.
everyone listened with rapt attention
and later came a scintillating exchange of ideas

What a great opportunity that must have been. I would have been among the people hanging on every word. I would love to hear Nicholas Kristof speak sometime. I'm sure he's another one who would keep me on the edge of my seat and thinking and re-thinking for weeks after.

I've seen him on Washington Week. I bet it was a captivating time.

I,too, would have held rapt attention, and i assume that it was well-worth hearing. I agree with Sharon about listening to N. Kristof; I saw and heard his wife last year in St Paul. What a duo they are!
