I love chickens. Mother and I always had chickens we raised from peeps during the war years. We only ate the older hens who had stopped laying and bought new ones from Sears and they came by mail.

You must have been visiting a farm recently. Nice-looking chickies. Our daughter in south Florida got some chickens not too long ago. When we visited they were gone. I asked where they were. "At the neighbors," she said. "They just fly back and forth."

Re your comment about birds on a wire: I hadn't though about this photo looking like a musical score but I see your point. Unfortunately, one of the birds did too. Sat on a live wire and now he B-Flat

They are gorgeous critters, when I see a chicken I remember that I used to sing to them when I was a children. However I would like to sing today as well!
I know...I'm silly :)

Your visitors' comments are quite amusing today, as is your caption. I think that Johnny Depp would be amused at both commentary and captions.
