Love that staircase. Wow. Impressive. I like it better than the flowers that will disappear in a few days. But the staircase will last for a century or more. Nice photo.

Flowers are nice, but pineapples are appropriate as well :^)

Abe makes me smile: it's easier to arrive somewhere with flowers than with a staircase!
and flowers are always welcomed, at any time, even without reason..

Oh gosh, I hope not! I love getting them.

Beautiful flowers and they are always welcome! :)
I also love the composition with the staircase.

I think flowers are always well-received, yes?

Shouldn't be! What a welcome gift.

I don't think it's passe...can't imagine someone objecting: "Take those flowers with you when you leave!"

But, just in case, a bottle of wine usually works. So long as it's as red and lovely as these flowers.

I'm tempted to climb to the top of the staircase and slide down but at my age that might look silly. Or, I'd kill myself!

Flowers are always a good way to inspire good feelings.

Depends on whether the hospital has declared flowers off limits. Flowers are great...would rather get them when I'm well. When sick, bring in the chocolates.

The staircase is really quite lovely!

Not at all! Peanut butter cup brownies are always a good choice.

Absolutely not. Especially if the giver has chosen the flowers with care and attention, they are wonderful gifts. I love flowers.

It is never wrong to bring flowers. I love getting husband bonus points for doing that at home when it's unexpected.

Flowers are a must! Even if it is only one. But most of all the presence is key.

Not at all, at least here in Italy, it's not passe. For births, actually, it's almost mandatory!
