homecoming

there's the unpacking, the laundry, the empty refrigerator,
the stacks of mail, the phone messages,
but isn't it glorious to come home after a long time away?
thank you all for coming to visit and leaving your always cherished comments.

It's the best Brattcat, no matter where you've been, home is always the best! Welcome home!

East, west, home is best. The red room looks very inviting and warm.

Great to go. Great to return.

Sure is! And especially when home is such a lovely place.
I'm heading for Charleston NC this morning for work. I'm looking forward to both going and coming back home... :)

Welcome home BC! Your picture sure looks inviting as I am sure it is good to be back in familiar surroundings.

You neglected to mention the reaction to your return from your cat. Julie's two cats, who lived 20 + years, passed away 7 or 8 years ago, but when we return from a trip we still miss their attentiveness.

We like your red walls. We have Chinese red walls in our family room, with eggplant accents for the cutouts.

Welcome back...we all love the dear little dolls. Although I love my home and family, I always feel letdown when I return from vacation. Perhaps it is my gypsy feet.etc.;

There is no place like home, there is no place like home. Such a beautiful room. I love the red.

Ah...one of my favorite rooms! I hope you are rested and recovered from being away from home.

I don't unpack my suitcase from Paris for days, weeks. It seems so final to empty it! Bienvenue
