yesterday, storms raced by on their wild, gray steeds

gnashing their teeth and stirring the air with rain spears

Brrrr... you just sent a shiver down my spine. A mood captured in your lens and words.

They are racing through here now, too. Sheathe those swords, I say!

I suspect that people in the Northeast do not want to see any more rain storms for a while.

Wow so you're still getting that wild stormy weather over there Brattcat, is that normal for Autumn? You've captured it perfectly.

Ohh....that does not sound pleasant at all.

We had some wild storms yesterday too. I got caught in a torrential downpour leaving work.

Grrr...danger prevails. Just what you need, another storm!

Hopefully it passed and your weekend is filled with happiness and sunlight!

Menacing but beautifully captured.

So beautiful, in a way.
I hope you were safe in front of the window with cup of hot tea.

I had to drive through it yesterday, from Boston's north shore to Hartford. It wasn't fun.

Brattcat, your words are so often beautiful. If you aren't a poet, it is time for a career change.

grace, there's a saying in new england...if you don't like the weather, wait a minute...the only thing predictable about our weather is its unpredictableness (is that a word?).

I'm just wondering if you made a B&W picture or if the nature was REALLY all grey?..

What a divine way to say, "It's raining cats and dogs up here!" :)

Wonderfully mystical magical photo. One to hunker down and watch art movies on the television...

This could have been taken right here yesterday.
'Bubble, bubble, storm and trouble' was nothing to our stormy weather all last week

I do hope Vermont did not have to suffer even more damage.
