Oh girl, I like these lines, so beautiful angle and great idea for these shots! :)

Only a cat could be that quiet... or fog on little cat feet.

*evocative* ... however, aren't fire-escapes for ... escaping ... in a downwards direction ...
A unique and usual photograph of fire escapes. It's very artistic.
Neat perspective, but too high-looking for me.
I think you cannot walk there without noise :P
When I lived in an old row house in Washington DC while going to college, we used the fire escape like a front porch.

Genie, is right. I think the only way to be quiet on these stairs is with littld cat feet.
The fire escapes I've tried to escape on have always been very rickety.
This one, I can't tell. But I got a crick in my neck trying! ;-)
A stairway to the stars?..
Where are you sneaking to, brattcat? What are you looking for, mm?
The older I get, the less willing I am to try walking on shaky structures like this. (But the lines on your top shot are cool . . . )
Can one be quiet on a fire escape?
I love metal working, especially with lots of angles, light, and shadow.
Such stark drama. All the apartments in my neighborhood in Queens had fire escapes. They seemed to blend into the buildings but your's jumps forward.
I love fire escapes. I love t he steps, the shadows.

Lines and angles, perfect for black and white. Great photo.
I wouldn't know where to start on that first one.
The top composition is brilliant!
The photo of high professional. You made poetry from boring metal side stairs.
It is difficult...
