Forgotten or not, it makes a beautiful photograph now.

Strong photo. I'd take this one too.

I think that when you have the first showing of your photographs at an art museum you must include this one for it is reminiscent of a master's painting.

Superb!

Re Cedar Key: Have not eaten pizza at the Island Pizzeria. Probably won't. There are too many other, nicer places to eat on the island.

Have a wonderful turkey day!

I like this photo very much. I've been doing a lot of manipulation with some of my photos and I can see all kinds of possibilities with this shot.

Abandoned quarries are strange places. They often became lakes, they're deserted , but something is still floating in the air..and your picture shows it well;

And do you have a piece of this history on your house? The stone is lovely, the way it wetly gleams. You asked a question days ago that I wasn't able to answer because our internet connection was broken. In case you're still interested in the answer to whether we get a lot of snow in Bellingham, it just depends on the year. Last year we had one dusting of snow and that was it. The previous year we had snow on the ground for three months.

Amazing photo--so much going on here and yet it is so still . . .

I wonder if anyone uses slate anymore. Where I grew up, that is all we used.

Wonderful colors and textures. It looks almost like a tapestry.

The water reflection gives amazing depth to the photo - a special spirit too. You kind of expect an elfe or fairy to come out of this place any minute!

There is a Pollack work on the walls of our National Gallery in Canberra, entitled 'Blue Poles'. Your image puts me in mind of it.

My little one is progressing wonderfully. She is now up to drinking the bath water!

I generally put family shots up on my 'Plumbing' blog.

I'm glad it's been forgotten because now it looks beautiful again. Or maybe it's just your wonderful photography.
