And a couple there saying their words of love...Romantic composition and we can imagine beautiful stories in this lovely scenery! Merci for this idea! Léia
Young romantics and old ones too, enjoy the sounds from these places sometime in their lives. Nice photo. It does bring up some interesting possibilities.
A lovely tune to look forward to. ☼ Sunny P.S. Sometimes my husband and I take a ride on a Sunday with no destination in mind and now and then we end up in Vermont; that's how we ended up in Guilford.
Until the band returns, there will be a symphony of fall colors, then snow.
Regarding your comment on my site today about the tragic news of a fatal mudslide in Costa RIca, I have changed my post for tomorrow to give news and information about this tragedy.
We lived in Caribou and Van Buren, ME about 50 years ago and I remember my dad always telling people after we moved on to new places that while living in Maine we only had three seasons, Spring, Fall and Winter. They would say, What about winter, and he would respond, You blinked you lost.
This picture reminds me of Bar Harbor, ME and the summer nights entertainment.
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Hopefully they'll spend the winter practicing. Another lovely autumnal capture.

Ohhh. . .awaiting the band. . .and the people. . .taking a pause.
For some reason images of Robert Preston and Shirley Jones popped into my head when I saw this lovely photo.
That's a long time to wait.
But what a beautiful shot.
I can hear the music now. MB
Ah, but it makes you appreciate the warm months of summer even more, doesn't it? The gazebo looks lovely with its background of fall color.

Looks a little sad. And so beautiful.
Beautiful! Just beautiful, Brattcat!
A lovely structure in a beautiful place.
What a lovely bandstand and how good this scene is. Don't need music, the scene is music enough.

The wait will be worth it.
In your neck of the woods, I'm guessing that's about right. Here? We could could have a throw down tomorrow. But maybe put on a sweater! :)
