That's a bit sad I think. We have seen and read a lot about this election in the Swedish press lately.

Very clever! And unfortunately, so appropriate.

Neat idea for the picture. And we already voted early this morning and then went out for breakfast.

A fine photo, and you express my wishes perfectly. We are all in this together. Having grown up in an extremely conservative area where neighbors were espousing the very ideas I hear from the ultra right now, and living the other half of my life in an extremely liberal community that spawned many progressive social movements, I feel like I have lived in that gap most of my adult life. I clearly see humans as humans in all places along the political spectrum and understand how we come to these varied perspectives. My regret is how gullible and sheep-like before the tactics of power-mongers and their media spin all of us can be on any given day, and my hope is in our ability to work together, for the common good. I hope B Squared is right :-).

It is everywhere. I wonder where that middle ground is supposed to be, I'm not sure it's anywhere to be found in teacups.
