I still remember a bridge like this that, as a child in Missouri in the 1960's, a classmate crossed across the top on a dare from another classmate, for a quarter. I am still horrified to think of it.
I check your blog everyday and am never disappointed. Your recent series of foliage pictures are glorious. I would comment everyday but can't think of anything to say except wow, or something equally inane. I hope 'thank you' will suffice.

Very interesting bridge, and I'm enchanted by the colours in the background!
Great shot!

The colors behind the bridge: stunning! Those leaves are still on the trees? Ours are now bare.
Wonderful colors and I really like iron bridges.
I used to say that a lot to my son when he was growing up.

All the time!
Love how the bridge blends in with the colorful background.
Seeing how rusty this bridge is, my mom would better have said:" we'll never cross that bridge"! :))
This being said, what marvellous colors!
Nice bridge. Great colors too.
I'm still waiting.
They still do! At this point in their lives, I'm happy whatever they say!!
The colours are stunning! Gorgeous!
These trestles always bring back that image of fear in "Stand By Me".
Yeah, I remember that comment. I think it was just after we were run out of town on a railroad track.
Nice autumnal shot.
Perfect balancedly autumn colours.

From the look of the rust on this bridge, I think you should hustle when you cross it!
Gorgeous . Your corner of the world welcomes autumn as no other!

I remember something looks like that..
Beautiful photo..
What great colors and lines.
And the time did come didn't it. MB
Not exactly, but something like that, adjusted for our countryside.
Love the rust against that gorgeous colour in the background.
Autumn colours and a bridge, ticking all my boxes. Love it.
Nice composition with the irregular tree line and the strong horizontals of the steel and wires.
