In the Arizona desert pumpkins life out in the open like that would become a feast for javalina. We have friends who cannot put pumpkins outside their homes because javalina (which are like a thin wild boar) will come out of nearby mountain preserve territory to feast on the pumpkins.
What a visually stunning, balanced photo. Reminds me that I need to watch "Nightmare before Christmas" to jumpstart my fall fever!

Pumpkins already. Not cool enough here. All that green and orange makes me thimk of the Irish flag.
