This brings back memories of my childhood. Will you use that wood through the winter?

No easy task, to pile up all that beautiful wood.

It has been many years since I stacked a load of firewood. There is an art to it.

In our Arizona house, we would never have a stack of firewood outside. We do not have scorpions, and want to keep it that way. Stacks of firewood in Arizona provide excellent habitat for scorpions.

Just love the feel and texture of this and in particular the angle from which you've taken it.

Interesting perspective. I like how the stacker used the small to help the large.

This is a really great shot - I never realised before how interesting bits of wood could be. The horizontal timbers form a wonderful geometric pattern.

I love coming here and seeing so many small packages of perfection. You're one of the best daily photo bloggers we have. Give yourself a pat on the back, BC.
