Great photo!

Beautiful snow-feeling...

But I`m happy, that we have no more snow!

Love this one! I hope you're not going to try to 'negotiate' these stairs with that tender knee however.

It's a dreamlike moment and a wonderful photo.

Looks like a mailman's nightmare.

"White dreams" has a slightly different counter-culture meaning which adds a piquancy to your text.

Over the weekend, I saw both "Hurt Locker" and "A Single Man". Have you had the pleasure of either?

Beautiful photo! Love those giant snow-gloved 'hands' reaching down from the tree.

And I, too, thought of your swollen knee trying to negotiate those stairs. No way. Stay home!

The little wooden door up there seems to be the door of paradise...

Oh what a beautiful shot for theme day. Just love it. And the words.

Excellent, Brattcat! A snowy wonderland. I'm thinking it might be a bit slippery, though, getting to that snowy loft.

Re: Your question on Ocala...Yes, that "passageway" is used all day everyday by lots of folks.

Hope you're feeling much better!

Beautiful choice and fantastic photo. It looks like no one has traversed this stairway since the last snow.

Beautiful photo. Very peaceful and calm feeling, and yet something feels secretive about it also.

Your poetic commentary makes your lovely photos even dreamier!

Perfect for the theme in your charming part of the world. It will ruin the photo for someone to shovel the stairs, but I hope someone does before someone slips and falls down the stairs.

Lovely choice for your theme image. Even with the snowy mantle, it's somehow a very warm and inviting passageway.
Sorry to hear of your mishap - wish you a speedy recovery!

Beautiful, but don't you go up there yet! Doctor's orders!

Just DO NOT go out. ;-)

Looks like some stairs for Father Christmas.

This passageway is dripping in snow which is so appropriate for Brattleboro.

The small size is gorgeous, in the large size it's magnificent.

This photos is what the archives are all about! It's a beautiful scene, you live in such a gorgeous place. If you go to Cedar Key we'll have to meet up and see what we can see during a photo shoot! I hope you're on the mend and getting better every day, BC.
