our breath usually vanishes

instantly, we exhale and...poof.
but the breath captured inside this ball has swirled in its plastic cocoon
through an entire winter

Very creative and clever too.
Yes it is still light at 7:30 plus. the sun sets here at 7:24 but stays light until about 8:00 specially with a clear sky.
I just looked it up:
Sunrise 7:11
Sunset 7:21

Interesting, the 'stuff' a winter leaves behind and most of it ain't white. Ha!

How intriguing, that thought. . .so if the person who blew the air into that ball had since died. . .his/her breath would still be captured. . .right there.

Lovely photo and very clever thought to go with it.

What an amazing thought! You are so right.

That tulip on my site is in a friends garden. I haven't attempted tulips yet.

I like that idea contrasted with the slash of green from the plant emerging from the frozen earth.

Now that's an interesting metaphysical thought. In we fill an inflatable ball with our breath and then we die, does our essence stay on within the sphere?

I hope these means you're feeling relieved and letting out a long breath. Another great Brattleboro moment. I love the pink!
