I love that your doctor apparently remembers what so many don't-- that the job is about care and nurturing. Although if he or she encourages you to lay your head in their lap, that's perhaps going a little too far. ;-)

Get soothing care... the knee is a pivotal piece of equipment.

There's so much tenderness in that statue!Your doctor must be a good person to welcome suffering people with such a view!

Very nice and tender scene. It certainly helps set the stage for a visit with the old sawbones.

I would guess that statuary says more about the doctor that the woman and child! Good capture!

Re: your comment about the cows. I herd that! You're too funny.

But I thought of something else that I told another blogger: Do you know what direction you're facing when you look at a cow?

Cowardly, silly! :-)

Hope you're feeling better. We kneed you back at full strength!

That is a gorgeous sculpture and so appropriate for the caring country doctor inside. Hope you got a good report.

Is it the pediatrician? I have very nice memories of my pediatrician when I was a kid. He was kindly and authoritative. Could have been a TV doctor. Short on the fine art, though.
