Beautiful b&w shot, and this bridge looks old and it gives a romantic touch in all!

A wonderful winterly shot.

The fact that the brook has not frozen must make it a popular stop for a drink for whatever birds have not flown south for the winter.

Again, such a gorgeous photo. Do you have covered bridges in your neck of the woods?

each of those winter pictures is so poetic..You seem to live in an other world for me, among peace and silence.

We have nothing remotely close to this. Beautiful!

I've never heard of brooks prancing and cavorting, but if you say so... ;-)

'Tis a beautiful sight, though! It appears you may have received more of the white stuff in recent days...

It's still cold here! Yuk! I'm going to play golf today but I don't think I'm going to enjoy it!

Great description!
It's snowing here...again!

You have one of those too. We got one, but mind you, it isn't a tourist attraction. I have seen all kinds of junk in it over the years. One year the school descended on it and cleaned up mountains of trash. It didn't last long.

And it appears to be running even in the cold. It's a beautiful scene.

So cold and wintry!

Another superior brattcat snow scene in B&W. Hope you're healing well and on schedule.

The wee brook is lovely and the snow capped bridge is a great place to stop and have a look ......or take a photo.

Pretty! And I bet it's about the only thing prancing through town on such an icy day!

A poem. Again, I feel like I'm in Yorkshire.

Pretty brook, and gorgeous photo.

It is probably prancing and cavorting to keep itself warm!

They are wonderful colours that you describe in the area once known as your knee! Never having done anything remotely similar, I cannot really appreciate the amount of pain associated with the damage, but I do sympathise. Bunker down for the long haul, my friend.

This is full of charm. Quiet, bucolic, real New England. Like it a lot.
