for years this balcony has welcomed small gatherings of international students.

even in winter they bundle up and sit out and talk late into the night.

sometimes the talk is serious but mostly these students laugh together.

'champ' has been sighted in lake champlain, about three hours northwest of brattleboro.

when i passed they were being watered by dueling swords of spray.

these blossoms followed the fence like a child's bright crayon outline.

I snapped this as we were pulling up to the dock.

the paddlewheeler took about twenty minutes

A couple of months ago I posted what I thought was Tapirgal's homestead.

Local historian, Charles Marchant, told me he thought I was one house off.

This, he believes, is the actual old Joy family residence.

Sorry to have mislead you, Tapirgal.
