retaining wall

A year ago this wall modestly did the work for which it was intended.
Now it has been draped in native robes by a local artist and celebrated for its color.
But beneath the adornment it is still a gray retaining wall,
quietly going about its business.

I would call it doing it in style!
It's beautiful! But then I've always loved native and ethnic patterns, so I would like this ;)

Beautiful: the colors and designs against the neutral backdrop. Fancy clothes on the wall.

That is just terrific ... maybe not if you live there but from here the colour is a riot!

Check out the photograph that Michael from Melbourne has posted this evening. You will love it!

Certainly is colorful. I'd guess some people there don't really appreciate it, though. Perhaps it's too much in one place?

Great photo! Usually I am against defacing property like that, but in this case, I like it!

Wonderful colors. The wall is quietly going about its business in style, and with verve.

I can appreciate it on one level . . . but I would rather see this colorful artwork on some boring, ugly, concrete slab and not covering up the beautiful natural stone work here. Is that a brick wall behind the house on the left?

Cool wall!

For what I guess from your words, this new colors were well deserved by the old wall.

Nice to see the wall's new life as an art installation.

That one small town has such magic in it! But then, magic is in the eye of the photographer.
