ah, but dave, i bet nearly everyone there has some form of air-conditioning, here almost no one does. so yes, you have us beat hands-down for heat, but you are better equipped to deal with heat than we are.just as we are better equipped to deal with snow.
Some dogs love water and other dogs (like our Golden) don't want anything to do with it. Funny, though, when our Golden would run around the pool very fast, every once in awhile she'd fall in! Surprise! :)
One cat prowls around small town Vermont.

Best way to go!
That canine is in doggie heaven!
That's a very big stick this beauty is retrieving here Brattcat, but at least he'll be cool while doing it :)
It is running about 108 in Phoenix yesterday and today, so I don't think Vermont counts as being hot.
Must be so good to be allowed to jump into water in the most simple way as soon as one gets hot!

i love this story about your dear golden, lowell.
Love this picture.
On this hot evening, that looks so refreshing. xx
It's been so hot here, too, but last night it rained, mercifully. Enjoyed your last few posts, too, of pigs and dinosaurs.
You won't need to tell me twice.
Sweet shot.
How cute! What a lovely capture, Brattcat.
