Very funny...and that little exercise was common when I was younger...it was always great fun because by the time the "message" got around the group it had changed dramatically!
I thought you were away so just to let you know I'm posting on our website blog:
Ho! I was thinking there'd be some jealousy there if the mailboxes talked among themselves . . . #40 got an invitation to #65's barbecue, but I didn't get one. . . etc

In the world of people, it rarely is.
I've never seen quite so many lined up in a row, even in Vermont. In Chinese whispers the message gets garbled very quickly.
I'm with Sharon. And I love this line of mail boxes! Impossible in France, we're more or less obliged to have all same boxes.. :(
And how would I know that? I don't know mailbox language! :-)
Hello! I liked the colors...

That was a game we played when I was a kid, but I always played with other kids, not with mailboxes.
What an excellent story this would make!

Not with people, of course. But with inanimate objects? Much more literal, I think.
What a nice composition!Clever capture, these boxes are beautiful!

The letterboxes playing Chinese whispers. Very good photo.
Sharon is correct...info gets distorted. I like that neat row of mailboxes.
I think not Brattcat, unless mailboxes have better 'listening' skills than we mortals :)
I think you know the answer to that. LOL MB
Ha, good one. There must be something in the air with mailboxes, since I posted this one recently.
So cool and what a great composition!
Telephone tag played by mailboxes?
