each morning, at breakfast, i note the swelling of the buds on the maple tree just outside the window.
sugaring season is over, spring has truly arrived.
to all those in the mid-west, hang in there.

Spring, the rejuvenation of life. Take a leaf of the trees and be filled with new, vibrant life and put on your former bloom.
Spring lace over your window ..
It is fun to watch those buds pop out and grow. I have two trees that line my driveway and when they were budding I see little tiny bits of pollen dusting my windshield in the morning.

Swelling here, too, finally. Only now is it getting warm, but weekend is supposed to bring rain...and cold...ick.

We were watching the buds swell on the trees in our back yard also, but they swelled and are really swell now which means yours will be really swell in just another week or two!
