this youngster preferred to keep her face dry,
backing gingerly into the pool
once in she used the warm rocks as a pillow.
later, after she'd climbed out, she pushed her sister into the pool
and chuckled at her own prank.
oh, the bears, the bears were "unbearably" cute.

Playful as puppies!
These bears do look like they would be delightful to watch. It is so much better to let them play around in a bit of their natural habitat compared to the old zoos where they put animals in cages.
What fun to watch these two frolic.
They can look cute but...
We had a couple of Grizzly's at Silver Springs Park...then one day one killed the other. No more bears there, now. But they were cute, too.
Scarier than Travolta at night at Walmart. He does roar into town on his motorcycle on occasion with his wife behind him.
Looks like a beautiful day at the Bronx Zoo. Very playful captures, especially the bottom photo; they almost seem to be smiling :)
For a second I thought you were bear photo-hunting in Vermont's forests...
Looks like you had great time, I am so glad.
Brawling and frolicking bears.
I was already to say 'awwww' until I read Lowell's note. . . :))
I used 'already' wrong. Ah well. Long day.
The last, playful shot is very cute, brattcat.
Oh, what fun! Enjoy the city that never sleeps . . .
Fun to watch Brattcat, we don't have the big bears at the zoo anymore, only the Sun Bears, which are also a delight to watch and as Dave said so much better now that they're not in cages, that was just horrible.
