Charming entrance of the house and I love the blossom detail, a perfect day! Spring is wonderful in your place, what a beautiful light energy! hugs Léia
If one's "place" has any connection to one's mental health, this would a very positive place and would certainly set a patient off in the right direction. So gorgeous!
I love seeing the spring blooms amid the old brick retreat. My father unfortunately spent too much time in places like this in the days when shock treatment was the favored method of treating patients. Treating mental illness is still an iffy science it seems.
Like Doug, I noticed the spring blossoms immediately. I love retreats, but I think I prefer monasteries. I need one every once in awhile for soul, spirit and body.

I have to say it's possible that I could benefit from a 'retreat' myself right now Brattcat :) Impressive entrance.
Beautiful building and entrance. We can all use a little mental health restoration from time to time.

Paraphrasing 'Jaws': we're gonna need a bigger facility...

I'd go for it...peace and quiet. Charming place.
I have driven past here many times, and the dark Victorian buildings always turn my blood cold. Maybe I am just afraid that I belong here!
