Any shelter in the storm will do. Nice image.

Ooh, intriguing. Who do you think made them--boy scouts?

Do you think there are elfs living in the forest?

I think the trolls who do not have enought room to live under the bridge that you showed yesterday must be livingin the lean-to shelters to stay dry.

So what's that all about? A scout troop? Homeless shelters? Runaways?

Verrrrrry interesting. You do find some funky things to photograph. Don't imagine they would do much to keep out the cold, the ice and the rain, though!

After moving from ME to SD I joined the Boyscouts. We went on a weekend campout in the Black Hills at Pactola Resv. It was the middle of fall. Two kids to a lean-to type of tent called the pup tent. First morning we awoke to almost 2 ft. of snow. Needless to say, we were very warm in our lean-to type of tents.

Nice picture.

Who says I'm the one living in a storybook?

Re your question: For the past several years, Lois does a letter and writes a personal note on a card and we she puts the letter in the card and away they go.

I used to do it. Quit. I thought it was over for good. But, nooooo.... :-)

Oh oh, you don't have those militia wackos out your way, do you? I thought they were all in the Ozarks.

Thanks for your kind wishes yesterday. I'm about out of whatever it was. In my case the special potion was Mrs. C's homemade yogurt and fresh blackberries.

Fairy house peut-être? :)

I'm guessing it must be for hunting (what do they call that? A blind?) but fairy houses or even troll houses sound much more poetic.

As far as what I was carrying, I was tempted to say booze to get me through the run! But no, it was just the Santa hat I'd been wearing but I took off halfway through the course because I got too warm. My red gloves are in the hat, too.
