What a pretty sleigh to just have been abandoned in the woods! Maybe you took it home...?
Oh, in response to your gingerbread house comment: I did not feel inspired to go home and make one. I prefer projects that don't involve care and patience! Even putting lights on the Christmas tree and wrapping presents usually ends up with me cursing and throwing things across the room. I think I need a little more zen in my life...

It moves once a year, around december, 25 th, and then comes back here, in order you BELIEVE it does not move...:)
How extraordinary and how absolutely beautiful!
What a nice shoot. The sleigh look like a sad person. Felt alone & abandone.
Peculiar. You never know what you'll find in the woods.
That is a fine looking sleigh to be left abandoned in the woods.
Delightful and sad all in one picture.
It would be a great restoration project.

It needs a visit from some industrious elves!
Ready? Go!!! :-)
That's kind of sad... sleigh gotta glide. What a wonderful image. The red, the black the white, the age.
It happens. I found a few sleighs in an old barn a few years ago. The following winter the barn collapsed, not sure what happened with the sleighs.
waiting for Santa? I think so. Lovely.

Hello! How are You?!
I agree with these comments ...
Nice!
Ouch... What a story may lie behind this sleigh!
How did I miss this one? What a great find! Sad, but nostalgic at the same time. I wonder what it was used for in the past?

Ditto Jilly's comment. Completely captivating. I would love to hear the stories people might write after seeing this inspiring shot.
