Interesting that what appears to be a barren landscape is really quite colourful upon closer observation. There are some beautiful muted shades in this photo.

Hard to image, from this photo, how colorful and fruitful these trees were just a few months back.

Re. your comment on the airbag demonstration on my post today: brattcat, I don't know if this is standard procedure elsewhere, but we certainly appreciated all the extra attention, as did the other customers who attended. This occurs once a month at this dealership. When we left, DH and I both felt that these guys were very proud of their long employment with the company and truly enjoyed their work. Their attitude and attention certainly improved my impression of a "sterotype" car saleman. Both our salesman and the administrators earned our respect.

I hope they are just sleeping and will be back to work producing beautiful fruit in about say 5 months.

What a beautiful image! The trees give it a kind of melancholic feel, contrasted by the green parts show hope! :)
God bless you!

I agree with Leia: wonderful colors, and the trees give some melancholy to the place..

I start to creak everytime it gets cold. This must be an apple orchard, yes?

Soon they will be transformed by snow coats.

To my eye this is very autumnal and rich. I find your choice of 'meek' fascinating.
