Beautiful works, creativity have no limits. The fact that we can create something useful and/or beautiful with our hands is just great!

These are adorable; you're very creative.
I used to knit cozy little slippers but it's been a while.

These are SO neat. I got a chance to see them 'live' this summer. Lovely artwork!

I like the way you make
Creatures out of yarn
The critters I know best
I found out in the barn

But you are like a god
Who can bring to life
Straggling little strands
Of brightly colored wool.

You also have a gift
To tell a yeasty tale
To take a piece of mind
And darn a tasty yarn.

Gifts such as these convey a lot of love. More so than similar items made in a factory somewhere.

Oh these are so cute. This is a talent I don't possess but they do bring back some childhood memories.

Hi BC...this is re: your question on Cedar Key: I don't know. We've been in the place, even bought a small bag, I think...but that was a while ago. At first I thought they might be summer dresses but that wouldn't make sense given the nature of the shop and then I noticed what I think are ties in the back, so my final vote is for aprons.

By the by, got a new poem on Creative Confections you might like...

Darling... how sweet of you to welcome new followers with open arms.
Can you also share your method of taking these photos? Lighing, background, settings...really well photographed.

Thank you everyone for your comments. If there are others wondering how this was shot: this is in my kitchen on a black faux-leather sofa with artificial light from the sides and above. The camera, a simple Cybershot by Sony, was set on automatic...usually I shoot in manual but I couldn't hold still long enough to get a sharp image and I don't have a tripod. Probably far more than you wanted to know.

These have a lot of visual power with the black background, particularly the first one. They're a little eerie.
