Great caption on this one! And imaginative. Looks like those little critters have a natural house on the bottom of the photo, looks like an entrance.
I do like your interpretation. What's funny is we have the same kind of thing here...I thought these may be some kind of Florida fungi, but it looks like Vermont is also duly honored by their presence.

We had crop circles nearby here a few days ago! Unfortunately I wasn't around so I had to be happy to look at them on the newspaper... maybe they are in connection with your UFOs!
