What kind of music do they play? The American Songbook is immense. Sure the music was fun!

Summer songs... As soon as the days are long enough, music invades the streets, making life a little more magic!

I guess some very enjoyable music! Jazzy!

There must have been a lot of music in city parks this last weekend! I'm seeing the photos all over the place!

Sadly, it was way to hot to play outdoors in Phoenix.

Oh boy, does that ever look like fun! And nice weather, too! Lucky you.

Also, I'm glad to know that you agree with me...not too many people do these days! About "fresh produce," that is! ;-)

Me again! Re your question on Florida Fotos: I'm not sure, but I think it's "with"-lacoochee. Here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Withlacoochee_River_%28Florida%29

And that's a fake gator! Although a real gator bit a worker at Silver Springs last week - serious bite, put the poor guy in the hospital!

Music in the park is a summer tradition around the world. Jarart had such a photo on her Prescott Area Daily Photo site today as well.

Like the other people commenting, I think outdoor concerts are a quintessential summer experience! This looks very enjoyable. I love all the old classic songs! Just saw "Guys and Dolls" at the theater yesterday, in fact.

Sounds great, as long as you don't have sweat trickling down your spine like I had on Saturday!
I like that corner shot a lot.

Sounds like America is singing during summer afternoons.
High and Main are streets, right? Like Lenin and Revolution not long ago here. But without that destroying consequences :-))

I suppose you know the first comment is about porn.

Anyway, I like the rabbits we have here and I just photographed another new one today.

I guess the American Songbook is like your best songs? Or traditional ones? I shall look it up!

For those of us in my part of Arizona, these things happen in the fall. Much too hot right now!

I can't even begin to guess what kind of music they played, but I'd probably have enjoyed it anyway. Live music is the only kind I like.
