Oh, the light, the light!!! Pretty Kitty is very lucky to be caught so well for this purrfect portrait. Hope the longing for companions becomes bearable soon.

Perhaps a bit sad, but a beautiful cat-model.
Beautiful light and a very nice "portrait"!:-)

Oh, he really seems to be sad! I don't know how cats do to tell so much things with their eyes..A hug to him as a (small) solace!

Sad, but so beautiful and so beautifully captured.

Oh what a stunning portrait. As Kim says, the light, the light. So sorry he is sad and I hope a new friend comes along soon. Fabulous portrait, Brattcat.

Blogger is crazy! I left you a comment saying how gorgeous this portrait is, but it doesn't show... Please delete this if the first one has been posted.

I have a kitty that looks like this one that got locked in my house by mistake! I finally got him out but he loves my front yard because it's overrun with squirrels and chipmunks!

Yours does look sad. :(

Cats are photogenic animals. The light is very nice, you have even captured his/her wispy little eyebrows.

This great portrait should lift up its spirit!!!

He's probably not as sad as he would have been if he had gone to England with them -- there's no place like home!

Superb photo, Brattcat...you got the eyes and therein we see the essence of this feline...I'm sure you put him in your lap and stroked her fur and made her feel all better!

I would add that I'm sorry your playmates had to go away so soon, BC. Hopefully they'll be back soon.

Excellent portrait of a luminous cat, hoping the sadness goes soon with a new friend.
