Wow! Could that tree be any closer to that house? Like your composition here... the house is an afterthought.

Everything tucked in so nicely.
Nice shot. MB

One can imagine those branches as a breath of air incarnate.

~~You captured the sunlight in a very subtle way on the side of the photo.

You gotta be kidding me? You lived in Baltimore? LOL

Gosh, did you live close to or around Dundalk Avenue? The street with the median strip and streetcar tracks? We lived there too in a "Row House" and that was a new thing for me and Patty. We had never seen one before. We had the ground floor. That meant I had to bring the lawnmower through the house to mow either the front yard or the back yard.

And the people who rented the upstairs sent their laundry and or carbage down a clothes line to air dry or if it contained the garbage I would unhook it when I was out back.

The house we lived in had super sized spiders in the basement.

Small world.

Your photo tends to sparkle. It is quite nice.

Super composition, BC! Great colors and light. I assume 'cause the house "breathes" light, it's coming in through what appear to be very new windows...

Re your comment on Ocala DP - You are very funny and a quick wit. Which is strange 'cause people usually say I'm not very funny and am a dim wit!

;-) Have a fun day!

Love how you see things, brattcat. . .truly. And I'm loving the comments of your visitors, too.

The juxtaposition of that tree so close to the house raises the question of whether they built the house right next to the tree, or whether the house was there first and the tree grew up next to the house.

I'm blushing! I guess I'll go play golf. That'll take me down a peg or two!

That is such a pretty picture. It kind of reminds me of a jigsaw puzzle scene. I bet this would make a good one.

Even Vermont's houses are tree huggers.

Hi BC! Re your question on Ocala DP: When you call that number they send an ambulance with a bed pan!

Young Nick was an engrossing companion, enabling me to understand your affection for Mr Banks.

My own little explorer will lob into town in the second half of July, but after a joint effort today at least she will have a bassinet, bouncinette, change table and stroller. The cot arrives this coming weekend.

I shall be spending time with some Boston angels next.

I feel this, there is something in this picture that says that!

I shall proceed with interest then. The historical link is right up my alley-way.

Yes, know the gender, but not the name. Don't want to know until she is born. They have narrowed it down to three, but not firm with the second name as yet. The short list has not changed since Christmas I gather. From a snippet yesterday, names like Grace and Hope are viewed favourably. I will like whatever they choose.
