She does indeed look hardworking, as she is making notes in a moment that otherwise looks like it is time for relaxation.

Hi BC---Regarding your comment on my blog about the Tulips.
Bulbs are a huge industry in the Skagit Valley and are sold around the world. Roozengarde and Washington Bulb Company is the largest bulb company in the nation.
When they are firstcoming to flowers many many are picked and sold to markets--the long stemmed flower--all over the US and then in turn sold to customers. Tulips you see in grocery stores in the Spring might be from here. Might not, too. Anyway in April the Tulip Festival begins for about 3 weeks with many events in the town of LaConner and Mount Vernon. At the end of 3 weeks the flowers must be cut before they die. they are cut to give nourishment and energy to the bulbs which are harvested in mid-summer and graded and sold all over the world. Everything is utilized and fun is had by all---too. the land where the blubs were could lay fallow all winter or replanted in the late summer with Cabbage and Kale to be grown for seed. It really is very interesting. MB

She obviously deserves better treatment than in yesterday's picture. Maybe junior is getting confused between being fed right handed and left handed.
