I miss my old shingled house. This one is lovely.

It's interesting to see houses covered in shingles. Most homes in Ontario are made of brick. Love the light on this home.

Beautiful house and you caught it with a lot of light on it. I love big shingled houses like that one.
I cannot begin to guess how much this would cost to buy these shingles and then to install them these days. But it sure makes the house beautiful.
It looks like one of those that This Old House has had on once or twice.
That is one thing I really miss having moved from Cape Cod...all the shingled houses. There are not a lot of them in this area.
