I love, love , this picture!! I surely worked in such a place in an other life, I can small the fresh perfume of the new washed linen and of the vapor of ironing..You perfectly caught the mood , and the spirit of this kind of room...
I once had an inquiry from one of the renters who had reserved one of our condos who wanted to make sure that we had an iron in the condo. I responded that we did, which is the truth. I felt like saying, "You are going on vacation in a Costa Rican beach town. Forget about ironing. No one will care."
I just came to your blog while surfing.... Such a nice blog you have...It took little time to download all the photographs as I am having a connectivity problem since ong back. But I really enjoyed each of the post very much...Great job! Thanks for sharing :)

I am surprised how well this works in mono. It is a good meme to participate in as it exposes one to such imagination.
Love the light and mood in such an economic space! I wonder what's in each of those cupboards?
And always a lot of ironing . . . a woman's work is never done! Great monochromatic shot!
I don't like ironing ;(
But your picture is amazing
almost antique :))))
(I can keep a secret I don't tell anyone ;)

Maybe her dreams have gone to her head.
I love your sense of humor that comes through so well in this photo! Great shot, especially with the back lighting...
And so very interesting...a truly fascinating place, this Hildene...
Jacob, there are more than a few people in this world who think I have no sense of humor at all so your comment today is particularly cherished.
I don't remember Bertha. I would have had I see her without her head. LOL
Beautiful and intriguing!
This is perfect for monochrome.

haha Love your comment, love this photo, so clean, so tidy, evidence of work done and work to be done. . .
This is a fantastic monochrome post and I subscribe to your sense of humor here. Hildene VT looks like a place to put on my "to visit" list.
I love this picture. Perfect for mono. Very crisp.
