i've never seen it lit and yet
it still thrills me with a sense of homecoming
as for yesterday, give a cigar to Sunny, Steve, Kaori, Jacob, and Dave. the answer was Cadillac.
Frank, you get every other cigar remaining in the box. though you never actually answered the question.

Some lights are like that - they don't need to be lit.
Love this shot, Brattcat...the b&w works especially well...can't believe the snow...winter has arrived early, you think?
Interesting caption: an alma mater?
The picture makes me think of old Christmas postcards: a wood, a light, and a very special mood...I like it very much!
I assume this is at someone's house. It does not look tall enough to be a municipal street light.
It's a nice B&W, but I can't stop thinking at all the wonderful colors you showed us these past days...
Striking b&w-- it brings out the strong texture of the post against the delicate leaves behind it. And beautiful words, as always!
Looked fast and thought I saw snow. Get any?
We had some snow a few days ago, Birdman. But it didn't stick. There's more to come for both of us, I'm sure.
Julie, this is in front of a house beside a church. I believe it was once used by the church's leader. I'm not certain it still is.
Jacob, winter always arrives too early in my opinion.
Thank you, Malyss, VP, LV always for your kind words.
Reminds me of an old movie with Ingrid Bergman named "Gaslight"..
Loved that movie, Marie Noyale.
Nice! I really like the black and white on it.
Thank you for all your wonderful comments on Salt Lake Daily Photo.
Ah, totally lovely and peaceful. No wonder it says, "home"!
A very old fashioned looking light.
This works well in black and white, though it looks like it is shrinking.
Oooh, it's like the lamp from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Adorable picture, and congratulation to our smart friends about the previous post here! :)
I think you write beautiful poems my friend, I liked a lot your sweet inspiration!
Hugs
Léia :)
