this old house thursday

What a view, perched above the town, overlooking the Chestnut Hill reservoir to the west and the Connecticut River Valley to the east.

I love this picture. It reminds me of my high school years. And sledding. Where I live now the houses are concrete.

I have not been to Brattleboro since perhaps 1990, and I just read that the Common Ground restaurant closed. What a bummer.

Thanks for all the nice memories :)

I like everything about this old house . . . The 1/2 and 1/2 paint style seemed to be popular in the early 1900s. I can only imagine the spectacular views and incredible pictures you could probably get from there. There must be great sledding
as well.

Lovely winter shot. I really like it. But... what about spring??

Is it situated in the mountains? And are they green, by the way? Some time ago I travelled through Vermont and what I can remember best are beautiful natural landscapes and Green Mountains..

Is there really a "this old house Thursday?" At any rate, this old house is stunning with the snow on it!

this looks so picturesque. Great shot. The snow in a photo like this does look so inviting. I am glad you liked the Chihuly on my site today also. I have one for tomorrow too!
