This display of Vermont maple products is just one section of the rambling country store in Newfane. You can wander from room to room and see quilts and crafts, books and stuffed bears, fabric and fudge, etc. I stopped there on my way to Townshend the other day because the roads were snow-covered and slick. I simply waited there until the plow came along, then followed it up the road.

And...did you buy anything ? Or just window shopping?
Kind regards,
Léia :-)
A great place to kill time...I love these little country stores! Have a great weekend :)
These natural products, did you? Seems different. We no longer have to use natural products.
One of life's little pleasures is Vermont Maple Syrup on blueberry pancakes! As a matter of fact, I just ordered four quarts on Friday from Plummer's Sugar House:)
I adored these New England country stores when I lived in that part of the world. Your post has made me nostalgic!
I was walking in the wood yesterday and the sap was literally dripping out of the maples onto the ground. Not too many country stores left in NY these days.
